Step 1 - Create your Division

Your division is basically what you call your league.

Examples of division names would be:
  • NHL
  • Adult A Grade
  • Midget
  • Senior In-House Advanced

How to create a new division:

  1. From the Admin area click the menu item League > Divisions
  2. Click the Add Divisions Item Button in the top right corner
  3. Fill in the form
  4. Click the Submit Division Button

Your division will have been created!  Now it is time to move to Step 2:  Creating a Season.

Division form fields:

Image: Click to upload image from your computer or use an existing image from our website.  A division icon help players more easily identify their division.

Division Long Name: Enter your division name. i.e.  National Hockey League

Division Short Name:  Enter a short name for your division. i.e. NHL

Division Description:  Use the description to outline the rules or any special circumstances within this division.

Division Order: Controls the order in which the divisions are listed and displayed.

Division Type: Allows you to choose between the types of divisions available. Choose the description from the drop down box that best describes the division type. Note: If you are running a pick-up or shinny league where the players and teams change from game to game, be sure to select Pickup / Shinny as the Division Type.

Minimum Age:  If the division is age specific you can enter the minimum age perameters -this is not a required field.

Maximum Age:  if the division is age specific you can enter the maxinum age perameters – this is not a required field

Ideal Number of Players:  The Game Management System uses this to help you get the right amount of players coming to your game.  Total number of players per game, not per team.  Do not include goalies.
